Aboriginal Cultural Learning aims to improve your knowledge and awareness of the impacts of Aboriginal and Australian history on systemic and cultural issues that impact on Aboriginal people’s health and wellbeing today.
This course has been developed to support the implementation of the SA Health Aboriginal Cultural Learning Framework to enable a consistent approach to the improvement of the cultural competency of its workforce in order to meet the needs of its Aboriginal consumers.
This course is suitable for all people who work in the health sector.

This course adheres to South Australian (SA Health) guidelines and Australian National Standards.
The principles described in the course can however be applied to any health care setting.
If you practice outside South Australia it is your responsibility to refer to the specific requirements of your local health authority.
This course and the Aboriginal Cultural Learning Framework align with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, Second Edition, Standards 1 and 2.
